  Is the magick herb, Vervain.
With blossoms purple, blue or red
  It graces any flower bed.

When guests are coming to your door,
  Use it when you mop the floor,
It will give you right to boast
  Of being parties' greatest host.

But if someone wishes ill,
  Place it on your window sill.
For it will turn a spiteful spell
  From the place wherein you dwell.
